This Lenten season, Petron is at it again with another installment of their Lakbay Alalay motorist assistance campaign. It’s been around for 3 decades now with this year’s program running under the theme “Lakbayanihan.”
From March 23 to 27, 2016 (except on March 25 Black Friday), Petron will have their major fueling stations on standby to assist travellers on their road trips up North or down South. These include their South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), Southern Tagalog Arterial Tollway (STAR Tollway), and Lakeshore stations.
Each Petron station is manned by teams of professional mechanics with their emergency tools and equipment. Aside from the usual services like safety checkups on 2- and 4-wheeled vehicles, travel advisories, and medical assistance, this year’s Lakbay Alalay provides customers with refreshments and massage services as well. Best part is that all these are free.
To further highlight the Lakbayanihan spirit, fun activities are also lined up to remind travellers of the importance of road safety. But Petron didn’t stop there. They’re extending the service by offering house-to-house LPG safety assessments and holding road safety seminars for car and motorcycle clubs. They’re even looking forward to the November “Undas” holidays by slating activities for the long weekend.
Lastly, Petron has teamed up with the Philippine National Police (PNP) to increase law enforcement visibility, especially in select fueling stations. To know more about the Petron Lakbay Alalay program, visit their official Facebook page.
