Toll fees for the newly completed section of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Expressway will be free for a month.
The operator of the NAIA Expressway, San Miguel Corp., said that fees will be waived for motorists coming from Skyway and Villamor; going to Macapagal and NAIA Terminal 1 & 2. In addition, fees are waived for motorists coming from Macapagal and NAIA Terminal 1 and 2; going to NAIA Terminal 3, Villamor, and Skyway.
San Miguel Corp. president and chief operating officer Ramon Ang hopes that the opening of the section, for free, will ease the flow of arriving tourists and ‘balikbayans’ that are expected to cause a rise in the volume of vehicles around this time.
As a review, the section connecting the expressway and Skyway was opened last Wednesday to lighten up traffic congestion at the NAIA-3 area for the holidays. Yet, the section is reported to be set for full completion within the first quarter of 2017, interconnecting NAIA terminals, SLEX, CAVITEX, and Macapagal Blvd.
