Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), the Philippines’ number 1 automotive company, recently unveiled the latest iteration of one of the classiest nameplates in their fleet – the all-new Toyota Alphard luxury van.
The 3rd gen Alphard welcomes everyone to first class styling with cues that have been enhanced to further instil its “luxury meets practicality” persona. Aside from its much more well-rounded body design and details, the latest Alphard looks more boldly commanding in motion or on a stand-still.
The most prominent asset of the Alphard is its interior package with vast amounts of comfort and luxury. Due to its extended wheelbase, this latest edition Alphard now has a roomier cabin with an all-natural leather interior trim. It features a host of top-class amenities like power-assisted driver and passenger captain seats, moon-roof, and a set of front and rear auto-recirculation air-conditioning system.
A sense of practicality has been one of the priorities in updating the Alphard. It now offers more space, as much as 147L, to fit extra items such as luggage, sporting gear, or more.
Other luxury features for the latest Alphard are the floor-mounted ingress/egress illuminations, room lamp with 16 mood-matching colors, and entry/exit assist grips. It also has a set of rear door and quarter window roller-type curtains for extra privacy and sun-shading. Finally, for that most enjoyable journey, the latest Alphard is has an 8-speaker audio system.
At the heart of Toyota’s latest 7-seater luxury fan is a robust 3.5L inline 6-cylinder 24-valve DOHC gasoline engine with dual VVT-i, linked to a 6-speed AT.
