About GAC Philippines
GAC Motor Company (Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese automobile manufacturer from Guangdong established in July 2007. It was dubbed as the sixth-largest passenger car producer in the Chinese market in 2009. Products range to manufacturing bigger vehicles such as buses, trucks, and light commercial vehicles. Given that the brand has four plants scattered in its motherland: Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Yichang, and Xinjiang, GAC Motor aims to produce one million vehicles in 2020.
With its arrival to the Philippine market, GAC Motor initially lines up five models designed to closely compete with other well-established brands. These include the GA4 and GA8 compact and full-size sedans, GS4 compact crossover, GS8 full-size SUV, and GM8 minivan.
GAC Motor has been ranked as the No. 1 Chinese brand in J.D. Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) for five consecutive years, starting 2013 to 2017, with cumulative sales of 508,600 in 2017. With this under its belt, GAC Motor pushes forward with continuously-improving product quality and consistent reliability.
