A brand spun off from the Dodge brand, RAM specializes in trucks and pickups. The brand was established back in 2010, and it uses the a ram's head for its logo. The RAM logo used to be the main logo of the Dodge brand, the former differentiated itself with its own unique logo. RAM trucks are made in a variety of plants. The Warren Truck Plant in Warren, Michigan and at the Saltillo plant in Saltillo, Mexico are among the two that make RAM vehicles. However, new series Ram pickups are made at Sterling Heights Assembly in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

The brand is known for nameplates like the RAM 1500, which happens to be the only nameplate being sold in the country at the moment. RAM's international lineup also includes other models such as the RAM 2500, RAM 3500, and a selection of vans under the Promaster nameplate.
