Suzuki Philippines Inc. is integrated automotive and motorcycle company in the country. Its history dates back to the 1950s as a business venture of an architectural and engineering company Rufino D. Antonio Associates Inc. (ADAI). ADAI was one of the country’s leading distributors of appliances imported from Japan, and soon began to expand as a motorcycle importer. After years of success, ADAI soon was acquired by Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan, and have assumed the company name Suzuki Philippine Incorporated (SPI).
Suzuki’s line of SUVs such as the Samurai, Vitara, and Jimny have become the most popular choices for customers in the country. As the business grew rapidly over the years, Suzuki Motors have also provided Filipinos with mobility in small and fuel-efficient cars.
While it is still recognized as one of the country’s top motorcycle manufacturers, SPI is also been distributing small cars such as the Alto 800, Celerio, Swift/Swift DZire, Jimny, Ertiga, APV, and the Grand Vitara.
