We’ll cover the general budget that you have to prepare and what kind of insurance policy you need to get for the Nissan Navara in the Philippines. It pays to have your car insured in the unfortunate event of an accident. For one, it protects your finances should something come up, but it also helps you get your car back on the road with no blemish or scratch with only minor cash out to your insurance provider.
Be sure to check out our Insurance Calculator if you have any other inquiries, and if you want to seal the deal with any of our insurance providers. Get a quote for free, and start securing your car’s insurance all with a few taps on your phone or a few clicks on your computer.
What kind of insurance should I get?
While you can go with the legal minimum, namely third-party liability, the better option is the more comprehensive option. Hence, we highly recommend that you invest in a comprehensive insurance policy to ensure that your car is insured for the road ahead.
Most policies will come with a substantial set of features, but a hefty price tag compared to the compulsory third-party liability. Though more expensive at first, if you do get into an accident that involves some major parts of your vehicle’s bodywork or mechanicals, it’s very likely that the cost to repair the car on your own will be much higher than the cost of your insurance considering the accident was bad enough.
Prior to the update, the lineup was very different compared to what we have today. For the VL , expect to pay P28,000 to P34,000 per year in order to comprehensively insure your unit, and on the most affordable 4x2 MT variant, The lowest variant in the lineup can be comprehensively insured for about P17,000 to about P20,000. Following the standard models, Nissan introduced the PRO-4X variant which stands at over P30,000 for a comprehensive insurance policy.
