Alfa Romeo Giulia Overview
The Giulia 952 is Alfa Romeo's competitor in the compact executive sedan segment. It is a sleek four-door, front-engine and rear-wheel drive sedan bearing the Alfa Romeo Shield Grille that's a signature of the Italian car brand. Designed at the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, the Giulia is the first model in the brand's five million-euro relaunch plan. In the Philippines, Alfa Romeo offers two trims for the Giulia: Super and Quadrofoglio. Of the two, the Super trim sits as the lower-end variant, tagged with a much cheaper price. The Quadrofoglio, on the other hand, is the Italian brand's top-range, performance-focused trim with added exclusive features, as well as exterior and interior elements. The Giulia's 55-year heritage has been carefully kept within the pillars of the 952. The bonus of good looks plus the either a 2.0- or 2.9-liter engine, depending on the trim, is what the Giulia is really all about. The 2.0-liter turbocharged mill gives about 200 hp and 330 Nm of torque, while the larger 2.9-liter churns 505 hp and 600 Nm of torque. These propel the car from zero to a hundred kilometers per hour in 6.6 seconds for the Super and 3.8 seconds for the Quadrofoglio.
