The B30e enters the SUV segment serving as one of BAIC’s more accessible models in its lineup. Blending rugged design with an electrified powertrain, the B30e features a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with electric motors—one for the 2WD variant and two for the 4WD variant.
This setup, known as the Smart Hybrid System, enables the BAIC B30e Dune 2WD to deliver 324 hp and 550 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the more robust B30e Dune 4WD produces an impressive 397 PS and 685 Nm of torque. Power is managed through a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT), allowing the B30e Dune to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. An impressive feat considering the B30e has the capability to go off-road.
In addition, the interior of the B30e is designed to provide an air of modernity combined with the rugged toughness one expects from a crossover. Along with a sleek and futuristic exterior, the B30e looks ready to shake up the crossover segment.
Launch
The B30e officially entered the market on September 19, 2024. BAIC introduced two variants of the B30e in the lineup, the single-motor B30e 2WD and the dual-motor B30e 4WD. The B30e is available at a suggested retail price of P1.588,000 for the 2WD variant and P1.888,000 million for the 4WD variant.

With a standard ground clearance of 215mm, the B30e Dune is ready to easily handle rough terrain or deep water whether it’s a 4WD or 2WD.

Ride is very good, very comfortable especially coming from my old car fortuner the ride is smoother and more comfortable and the looks is so good, I like the boxy look and the front is so manly. Interior is also very good and very spacious it's unbelievable and when the second row is folded the massive truck space gets even bigger. The Drive and Tech is also good, only downside is there is no android auto yet and the infotainment system is kinda slow. The Fuel efficiency is okay given the size and shape of the vehicle. Overall Definitely recommend it's a bang for buck car.
