Changan Philippines, under Berjaya Auto Asia, Inc., is presenting its lineup to the Philippine market. With its main production facility in Chongqing, China, the brand aims to provide cost-effective vehicles to consumers. The brand was introduced into the country in July of 2019.
Two vehicles comprise the Changan lineup in the Philippines. For consumers, the brand offers the Honor S MPV which can seat up to 8 individuals in a single sitting. For small businesses, the Star truck is available in a selection of body configurations ranging from a cab and chassis, drop-side pickup, and an aluminum box van.
Changan has launched a two-car lineup for 2019. Mainly focusing on affordable utility for both consumers and small businesses. The Honor S has seating capacity enough for 8 individuals, while the Star Truck can be procured in three different body configurations.
Changan uses the number of seats in its MPV to denote the trim level, but even while that’s in play, the price remains the same between the two variants. For the Star Truck, the variant is completely dependent on the body-configuration.
