The Chery Tiggo Touring is a subcompact crossover and is one of the models that fall under Chery’s revised model lineup, now sporting more features, as well as better powertrains for added performance and driving efficiency. The Tiggo Touring is a standout subcompact in the lineup, similar in styling to its larger brother, the Tiggo 7 Pro. The new design language is also complemented by other additions, including the tried-and-tested 1.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder from the Chery stable, mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT)—an option that the standard Tiggo 2 did not have. The engine produces 108 hp and 140 Nm of torque and is touted to be more fuel-efficient thanks to the CVT, allowing the model to achieve a balance between power delivery and efficiency.
Launch
Chery Philippines publicly launched the Tiggo Touring in the country on November 26, 2021, previously known at launch as the Tiggo Touring. Two variants of the Tiggo Touring are available for sale here in the Philippines first is the 1.5 MT variant, which comes in at P698,0000, followed by the 1.5 CVT, which is priced at P888,000.

The Chery Tiggo Touring shares its platform and chassis with the Tiggo 2. Under the hood, the Tiggo Touring packs a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine that delivers 108 hp at 6,000 RPM and 140 Nm of torque at 3,000 RPM. A CVT is the lone transmission option. The Tiggo Touring rides on a Macpherson strut suspension for the front and a torsion beam at the rear. Stopping power comes from front and rear ventilated disc brakes.

Technology Features
Chery equipped the Tiggo Touring with a host of modern tech features. The centerpiece is a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and QDLink for Android. It's also Bluetooth and AUX-ready, and it gets a 4-speaker setup. There's also cruise control, which the driver can adjust through the steering wheel controls. A radar-equipped rear sensor makes parking easier when combined with the rear camera. The Tiggo Touring gets auto-leveling headlamps for precise navigation in dark situations. It also gets a follow-me-home feature for more convenience. Rounding out the features list are an intelligent remote key, keyless entry, remote engine start, a push-to-start button, and a power tailgate.
Exterior
Chery gave the Tiggo Touring a front fascia that looks straight out of the Tiggo 7 Pro. The crossover benefits from that, as it gets the signature Diamond Galaxy grille for a more sophisticated look. There are also sleek headlamps with LED daytime running lights (DRLs).
Over to the side, the Tiggo 2 presents a confident stance enhanced by the double shoulder lines and distinct wheel arches. The Tiggo Touring rides on fresh 16-inch alloy wheels, perfectly complementing the touches of chrome around the vehicle. At the rear, Chery boasts of 3D hollow smoked tail lamps. There’s also a hefty bumper and an integrated spoiler to make things more sporty.
Interior
Chery furnished the Tiggo Touring's interior with some nice amenities. The cabin looks refined, as made clear by the liberal mixing and matching of materials. Hard plastics combine with soft touch material along with faux carbon fiber accents. The new flat-bottom steering wheel with audio controls looks like something out of a sportier and more expensive car, but it fits well inside the Tiggo Touring. The seats are finished in leather and fabric, so the driver and passengers have a comfortable yet premium experience. Space in the rear has also been expanded for a more relaxing ride. Chery says it has worked to bring a quieter side to the Tiggo Touring by improving cabin noise insulation.
Safety
The Chery Tiggo Touring comes with a slate of essential modern safety features. Chery has equipped the crossover with a rear camera and a radar reversing sensor with dynamic guidelines. There's also dual SRS airbags, an engine immobilizer with anti-theft alarm, central door locking, and a child safety lock with ISOFIX interface. The Chery Tiggo Touring is equipped with a Bosch 9.3 electronic stability program (ESP) that enables features like traction control and braking assist.
