Chevrolet has packed the Trailblazer with a host of modern safety features that used to be exclusive to other markets. The crossover gets a standard advanced driver assist system (ADAS) that includes features like forward collision alert, following distance indicator, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, and lane departure warning. The system also features front pedestrian detection, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, automatic emergency braking, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The Trailblazer also gets Chevy’s enhanced stability control system that includes an anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, cornering brake control, traction control, engine drag control, hill-start assist, and rollover protection.
For braking safety, the brake assist system features fading brake assist, panic brake assist, brake pre-fill, mini spare detection, and brake torque vectoring.
