Dongfeng Vigo 2026

Dongfeng Philippines launched the Vigo EV on May 26, 2026. The Vigo is offered in a single variant with an SRP of P1,458,000. It comes with an eight-year or 170,000 km battery warranty and a five-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty.

The Vigo EV measures 4,306 mm in length, 1,868 mm in width, and 1,654 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm and a ground clearance of 190 mm. It seats five passengers.Power comes from a PMSM Mach E traction motor producing 161 hp and 230 Nm of torque.

Top speed is 160 km/h. The battery is a 51.87 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate unit with a CLTC-rated driving range of 471 km. Charging is handled through a Type 2 / CCS2 port, with DC fast charging capable of going from 30 percent to 80 percent state of charge in just 18 minutes, and a full zero to 100 percent charge via AC slow charging in 7 hours. The on-board AC charger is rated at 6.6 kW. The motor uses a liquid-cooled system, and the battery carries an IP67 water resistance rating. An Adjustable Energy Recovery System is also fitted.

Three drive modes are available: Eco, Comfort, and Sport. Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality is standard.

Suspension is a MacPherson strut independent front and torsion beam non-independent rear setup. Brakes are ventilated disc at the front and solid disc at the rear, with an Electronic Parking Brake and Auto Brake Hold fitted as standard. The Vigo EV rides on 18-inch wheels, and Electric Power Steering (EPS) is standard.

The infotainment system is a 12.8-inch HD touchscreen serving as both the infotainment display and the vehicle control system, supplemented by the 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster up front. Apple CarPlay is supported, and a Voice Recognition Control System covers multimedia, telephone, air conditioning, and power window functions. Bluetooth connectivity is standard, and the system drives 6 speakers. Mobile phone mirroring is not available.

Additional tech features include ambient lighting, a smart key with multiple functions, one-touch power windows with anti-pinch, auto-fold power side mirrors, and a 50W wireless charger. The air conditioning system supports Auto Climate Control with a rear AC vent, Rest Mode, and Camping Mode -- the latter being particularly useful given the Vigo EV's outdoor-oriented character. External Bluetooth speakers are also a notable standard feature, allowing music to be played outside the vehicle.

The vehicle camera system provides a 360-degree panoramic view, a transparent chassis view, front and back narrow channel view, and front and rear parking radar -- a comprehensive camera package for tight urban maneuvering.

The Vigo EV carries a modern, upright SUV profile with strong body lines and contrasting cladding. Automatic LED headlamps with height adjustment are fitted, complemented by LED daytime running lights and LED tail lamps. The side mirrors are electric floating foldable units with auto-fold lock and unlock. A hydraulic tailgate makes loading and unloading more convenient, and flush electronic door handles with a hidden power handle mechanism give the body a clean, uninterrupted side profile.

The antenna is a fin-type unit. Six color options are offered: Canyon Orange, Titanium Silver, Mosswood Green, Sandstone Yellow, Arctic White, and Cyber Black.

The Vigo EV's cabin is trimmed in PVC leather with stitching detail. The instrument panel features an 8.88-inch color full LCD instrument cluster. The steering wheel is leather-wrapped with multifunctional buttons, and gear selection is via an electronic column lever. Both the driver and front passenger seats are 6-way electric with height adjustment, while the rear seat is a split-folding 60/40 bench. A frameless manual anti-glare rearview mirror and driver and passenger sun visors with mirror and light are fitted. A panoramic sunroof is not available on this variant.

Storage and convenience features inside include one front USB Type A port, a 1 Front and 1 Trunk 12V accessory port, a 1 Front 50W mobile phone wireless charger, and 2 front and 1 rear mobile charging ports (Type C). The smart key system supports lock, unlock, window operation, up/down function, car power on/off, and a car search finder.

Trunk capacity is up to 500 liters, with an additional 72 liters of underfloor storage via the two-section tailgate design. The rear seats also feature an effortless load-in flat-folding function.
