The Ferrari Portofino is a versatile drop top sports car set to challenge the entire V8 GT segment. The name is inspired by an Italian fishing village famed for its iconic breathtaking harbor ports. This association perfectly flows on the car's glorious body lines and contours that is reminiscent of pure elegance and luxury – pair it with the Rosso Portofino color. All passengers will instantly notice the new wind deflector that cuts air flow inside the cabin by 30% and also reduces aerodynamic noise when the top is dropped. In addition, a new air-conditioning system improves comfort, while a new steering wheel and 18-way power-adjustable seats are toys for the driver. Entertainment is led by a 10.2-inch touchscreen display. Capable of unleashing a massive 592 hp, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, making it a candidate for the most powerful convertible to combine the advantages of a retractable hard top, a roomy trunk and ample cabin space, plus two rear seats suitable for short getaways. Taking over the throne of the California T, the Portofino boasts new lighter chassis with better torsional rigidity. In addition to its glory, it uses the same V8 Turbo engine that was nominated in the International Eninge of the Year in 2016 and 2017. The characteristic Ferrari V8 soundtrack has also been further enhanced and is noticeable both in roofed and top-down driving. These improvements, along with the Variable Boost Management which adjusts torque delivery to suit the gear selected, gives the Ferrari Portofino even higher levels of acceleration in all gears, while having lower fuel consumption compared to the California T.
