The Ford Explorer's history traces back to more than 20 years ever since it was introduced early in the 90's. It went through a lot of changes, including a recently redesigned platform which transitioned it from a midsize SUV to a full-size crossover SUV.
Through the years, the new Explorer has grown up greatly, and is now packed with more of what our fellow Filipino cross-country adventure seekers need for the most amazing journey. As a full-size crossover SUV, the explorer sports a body dimension that's already locally regarded as one of the largest in its class. Standing tall and looking extra masculine with a hint of the 21st century design ideas, the Explorer kept its status greatly, and it all continues inside where seven people can sit in comfortable leather, moving about in wide spaces, and enjoying the ride with a bevy of cool entertainment and connectivity features.
In the Philippines, it's available in 3.5L and 2.3L EcoBoost engine choices, both are packed with more smart and safety features which includes Front Park Assist and Hands-Free Liftgate. It also received a facelift with its new front grille, headlamps, fog lamps, and tail lights.
Both variants are available in 3 elegant color choices: Tuxedo Black, White Platinum and Magnetic Metallic.
A few months ago, Ford Philippines introduced the new Explorer Sport variant. This time, they’ve added another variant known as the Explorer Limited. Best part is that it’s about to hit shelves nationwide later this month.
Ford Philippines recently launched the upgraded Sport variant of their monstrous Explorer with a beaming new look. It's now donned with a meaner front facade compared to the previous version and we think it’s awesome.
