The Ford Territory was first launched in August 2020 and serves as the brand's new compact crossover in its Philippine lineup of vehicles. It fits in between the Ecosport and the Explorer in the Blue Oval's crossover selection. The crossover was initially launched with two variants, the Trend and the Titanium+ in the country. In 2023, Ford unveiled the next-generation Territory with a brand-new exterior and an updated powertrain that now puts out 158 hp and 248 Nm of torque. In 2025, Ford updated the Territory for the Philippines with a refreshed front fascia, updated interior, and a new hybrid powertrain, marking the first step towards electrification for Ford in the country.
This time around, the Ford Territory Hybrid is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with an electric motor. Power delivery is handled by a dedicated hybrid transmission. In terms of performance, the Territory's hybrid system delivers a maximum engine output of 148 hp and 230 Nm of torque, while the electric motor adds up to 215 hp and 315 Nm.
Launch
On August 14, 2020, the Ford Territory officially went on sale in the Philippines with two variants and with an introductory price of P1,179,000 for the Trend variant and P1,299,000 for the Titanium+ trim. The compact crossover slots above the Ford EcoSport, and is markedly bigger than Ford's turbocharged subcompact crossover.
On March 31, 2023, Ford Philippines opened reservations for the new Territory, the new model made its first public appearance in the Philippines at the Manila International Auto Show on April 13, 2023. The 2nd generation is available with two variants named the Titanium and the Titanium X priced at P1,335,000 and P1,599,000 respectively.
On August 8, 2025, Ford Philippines officially launched the Territory Hybrid for the Philippine market. The electrified Territory came available in two variants, the Trend and Titanium X priced at P1,399,000 and P1,599,000 respectively.
Platform, Chassis and Powertrain
Built by the JMC-Ford venture, the first generation Ford Territory sits in a unibody frame with fully independent suspension all around. The front has a MacPherson shock and strut while the rear has a multi-link system that allows for bumps and potholes on the road to be smoothened out in tandem with the chassis. The compact crossover rolls on a set of 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels and has disc brakes all around, with ventilated units up front and solid discs at the back.
The current generation of the Ford Territory utilizes a hybrid powertrain. Both the Territory Trend and Titanium X variants are powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four Dedicated Hybrid Engine, paired with a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission and a 1.83 kW Lithium-Ion NCM high-voltage battery. This hybrid system delivers a maximum engine output of 148 hp and 230 Nm of torque, while the electric motor adds up to 215 hp and 315 Nm.

Technology Features
The next-generation Ford Territory Titanium lives up to its smart SUV reputation by featuring significant upgrades and enhancements inside. One noteworthy improvement is the addition of a new Integrated 7” Digital Cluster that provides real-time information. This feature is complemented by a 12” Colored Touchscreen that offers improved visibility and easy access to various SUV controls for both the driver and passengers. Moreover, the touchscreen doubles as a monitor for the 360-degree camera, which assists drivers in seeing blind spots around the vehicle. The front console has also been updated to include a Wireless Charger for convenient and seamless mobile phone charging. Additional interior amenities include the Rotary e-Shifter and Electric Parking Brake, which provide extra comfort and safety. Ford has also upgraded the Territory’s Air-conditioning system to a Dual-Zone Electronic Air Temperature Control. Additional upgrades introduced to the Territory Hybrid include Ford's comfort braking feature and multiple hybrid drive modes.
Exterior
The recently launched 2023 Ford Territory boasts a fresh new look that is reminiscent of larger vehicles, including the Ford Explorer. The SUV flaunts sharp LED headlights and a huge front grille that contribute to its modern appearance. In addition, the side profile has been modified to give it a more SUV-like presence, with a larger set of wheels accentuating this change. The rear end of the 2023 Ford Territory has been updated with a fresh tailgate design and a new set of taillights that is reminiscent of the iconic Ford Mustang.
Also growing in size, the Territory now pushes the limit of what can be considered to be a compact crossover. It's one of the bigger five-seaters in the market today, and it features ample ground clearance, coming in at 190mm, and dimensions that are some of the biggest in its category with a length, width, and height of 4,580mm long, 1,936mm wide, and 1,674mm tall. The wheelbase of the Territory spans 2,716mm long giving it a large stance.
Interior
Inside the Territory is business as usual for a Ford vehicle, intelligently designed, comfortable, and features a mix of leather and high-quality plastics. The seats are upholstered in a combination of fabric and leather or leather depending on the trim level. The driver's seat is power-adjustable for both trim levels while manual controls are equipped for the front passenger. The center console features the usual cubby holes for storage but, for this next generation, Ford has equipped the Territory with a rotary gear switch. The dashboard and center console is dominated by a large 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which provides access to a range of features including navigation, climate control, and audio. The infotainment system may also support smartphone integration, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, the Ford Territory comes with Dual Zone Electric Temperature Control as standard.
If you opt for the Titanium X trim, other interior features include a panoramic sunroof, a power-operated tailgate, and a range of driver assistance and safety features.
Safety
The 2025 Ford Territory Hybrid comes equipped with a suite of safety features and driver assistance systems. In terms of standard equipment, the Territory gets six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, Blind spot Information with Cross Traffic Alert, a 360-degree view camera, Anti-lock brakes and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, traction control, Hill Launch Assist with roll-over mitigation and Hill Descent Control.
Exclusive to the Titanium X variant are advanced driver assistance features, which include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Auto High Beam, Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Brake with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Aid, and a Collision Mitigation System

Efficient as it should be for a 1.5 liter car. Issues with CarPlay in and out when driving. Transmission shifting that jerks the car (I should’ve waited on the hybrid version to resolve all these issues).
