Slotted in the Philippine MPV segment, the GM8 offers comfort for seven passengers in a rather upgraded level. It's got a well-composed fascia, composed of a wide grille, angular headlamps, and dynamic bumper vents. The side is characterized by yacht-inspired body lines, while the rear has this flow-through LED taillight design.
Inside is a streamline of both luxury and comfortable cabin amenities that projects elegance. It features what GAC calls a '360-degree Serene Sanctuary" due to its panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and upholstery quality. The second row features captain seats, complete with back massager, wide electric leg rests, and comfy head rests. A 32-inch color LED display screen is found on the center console, along with the three-zone automatic air-conditioner with air purification system.
Paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that's capable of 198 hp and 320 Nm of torque. As per GAC, the GM8 is the only MPV with four-wheel independent suspension system tuned by the brand's international chassis tuning team. Additional features include the hydraulic torque converter lockup, quick gear shifting technology, and stroke shock absorber.
