The Hyundai Palisade 2.5T HEV Calligraphy is a seven-seater hybrid crossover. It runs on a 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with an electric motor. The Palisade HEV uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine combined with a hybrid electric motor. The gasoline engine has a displacement of 2,497 cc, while the system’s total power output reaches 329 hp. It is supported by a 6-speed automatic transmission and conforms to Euro 4 emissions standards. Fuel type is gasoline.
For the chassis, the Palisade uses a MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link suspension at the rear. Shock absorption is handled by high-performance dampers with a self-leveling feature. The cabin includes a 12.3-inch TFT LCD instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen audio system. This unit includes AM/FM radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth with voice recognition. The sound system includes 14 Bose premium speakers. The system is supported by a wireless phone charger and seven USB ports spread across the front and rear rows.
Convenience features include smart key access with a push-start button and fingerprint recognition for enhanced security. The shift lever is mounted on the steering column and uses a shift-by-wire system. Climate control is handled by dual-zone automatic systems in the front and an auto-control system in the rear. The vehicle includes rain sensors, power outlets, and a UV-C tray in the center console.
The Palisade HEV is equipped with wide projection LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and LED turn signals. It also includes LED rear fog lamps, LED rear combination lamps, and an LED high-mounted stop lamp. The exterior lighting includes a dynamic welcome function and auto light control. The roof features rails and a dual sunroof system with power tilting and sliding functions.
The side mirrors are power adjustable, electrically foldable, and heated. The flush-mounted handles match the body design. The vehicle includes a power tailgate with height adjustment and a rear spoiler. All door windows offer power auto up-down and safety features for the front and rear passengers.
Inside, the Palisade uses Nappa leather for its seats. The front and rear seats support heating and ventilation. Both driver and front passenger seats have seatback pockets. The cabin includes overhead and personal LED lamps, an auto window defogger, and a cargo area lamp. Rear occupants have access to rear walk-in controls and built-in curtains.
The driver gets an electrochromic mirror paired with a digital center mirror. A head-up display is available. The second- and third-row seats include ISOFIX child seat anchor points. The cabin includes a sliding console box, a wireless charging pad, sunvisors with lighted mirrors, and power windows with safety stops.
The Palisade includes airbags for the driver, front passenger, sides, curtain areas, and a driver-side knee airbag. It comes with anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist. Other braking aids include downhill brake control and a multi-collision brake system. The vehicle also supports trailer stability assist and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Hyundai SmartSense features include smart cruise control with stop-and-go, lane following assist, lane keeping assist, and blind spot collision avoidance assist. A blind spot view monitor and surround view monitor are also included. Reverse parking collision avoidance assist and forward, side, and rear parking sensors are standard. A rear occupant alert system is also part of the included safety package.
