Another Hyundai SUV that’s named after an iconic American city, the Hyundai Santa Fe boasts the same aura, power, and performance of the Tucson, but elevates all of it a notch higher in terms of style and sophistication. Slotted here in the Philippines to compete with the Toyota Fortuner and the Mitsubishi Montero Sport, the Santa Fe comes out as one tough contender to beat. Leather seats welcome the driver and six other people, making it a much roomier vehicle than the Tucson. Panoramic sunroof sets the journey in to a greater mood.
Under the hood is a 197hp 2.2L R-eVGT CDRi diesel engine, bolted to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Santa Fe can be taken home with a choice of three variants, one of which offers a full-time 4WD system that goes the distance from tarmac to off-road in smooth fashion.
Hyundai Motor Corporation revealed the new face of the Santa Fe during the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. We're loving the subtle updates on this Korean 7-seater, except that we're not sure when will this land the local showrooms.
The Hyundai Santa Fe is a midsize crossover SUV with a history that dates back to the year 2000. Now on its 3rd generation model, it’s packed with exterior and interior trims that are beyond what you see on its surface.
