JAC Sunray Overview
The JAC Sunray is the brand’s entry into the large commercial van segment in the Philippines, with a boxy design that warrants this vehicle as a great people-hauler. Its high-roof ensures a roomy interior for its passengers, which roughly translates to more comfort inside the vehicle. Speaking of comfort, the Sunray is equipped with a dual-zone manual climate control system and leather seats. As for the driver, there’s an available tuner and MP3 entertainment system with USB connectivity. He’ll also be the one to man the vehicle’s 2.8L diesel engine, which can put out 119 hp and 250 Nm of torque. These power is sent to the rear wheels via 5-speed manual transmission. For safety, the Sunray is equipped with driver and front passenger airbags, as well as ABS with EBD. The large van also has alarm, electronic door locks, keyless entry, and rear parking sensors for added security and convenience. The JAC Sunray is available in short and long wheelbase chassis, able to carry 15 or 17 people with its short, medium, and long body specifications. It is available in either silver or white, depending on your taste.
