Jaecoo is an SUV specialist marque from Chinese automotive giant Chery, which debuted in the global market in 2023. Created specifically to target export markets, including Europe, Russia, Malaysia, the Middle East, and South Africa, the Jaecoo brand focuses on delivering its stylish, modern, and tough SUVs to a global audience outside of its home country of China.

In the Philippines, Jaecoo, alongside its sister brand Omoda, made its official debut at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show. During the event, the Jaecoo J8 and J7 crossover SUVs were launched as the inaugural duo of vehicles in the Jaecoo line.
