Review: 2017 Kia Soul SL VGT CRDi DCT / Review
You can’t really judge a book by its cover, especially if it has VGT under its hood.
The KIA Soul is a hatchback that defines an active lifestyle and being on the go. The Soul is passion, and backed up by being the 2014 IF Product Design Awardee, the Soul definitely is 2014’s highlight in the global compact hatchback market.
With a styling that is at par with some of the current Crossover models in the Philippines, the Soul’s vibe ticks all the boxes for great form and function in spite of its compact size.
Interior aspects are its crowd catcher. Five people can hop aboard its standard leather seats, and still a lot of room can be spared for luggage and other stuffs at the back. Modern touches like iPhone connectivity and digital entertainment keep everyone in the right mood.
At the heart of the Soul is a U2 1.6L VGT CRDi inline 4-Cylinder diesel engine, mated to a 6-Speed AT. For the average car lover, the Soul is a good choice due to its affordability, efficiency, light weight, agility, and spaciousness.
