Like the GLA, the GLC is a crossover born from the C-Class' platform. GLC stands for Geländewagen (off-road vehicle) C-Class, with the letter L serving as the linkage between the two. It is Mercedes-Benz's take on luxury crossover segment. The exterior design on the GLC is closely comparable to the C-Class, which is observed across the German marque's current lineup. This approach on the exterior does not only make the car achieve a youthful vibe, it also gives it a sporty personna once seen on the road or in the parking lot. It's like looking at the C-Class, the only thing is that it's relatively higher and roomier. Since roominess is what crossovers and SUVs are for, the GLC offers more from its sporty sedan counterpart. With a trunk space capacity of more than 540 liters, there is enough room for anything for any trip – that's with the rear seats up and unfolded. The trunk space is accessible via its keyless power liftgate. Not to mention, the interior is clad with high-quality leather and materials, which all amp up the luxurious driving ambience. Convenience is another key to a comfortable drive, which is why the GLC is equipped with the Cockpit Management and Data (COMAND) system. Through this technology, you may control all vehicle functions via a seven-inch high-resolution display. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter four cylinder turbocharged engine capable of 184 hp and 300 Nm of torque. The mill is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
