Popular among car afficionados, the Lancer is still preferred by those who sprint during the weekend. For 2016, Mitsubishi kept the side and rear intact while giving the front fascia a slight make over. The grille was slightly curved, while the front bumper now features LED daytime running lights on each side.
Inside the five-seater is an updated center console with touchscreen infotainment system which now can be connected to via USB, and revamped upholstery.
The Lancer retains the same engine from the previous model, while deciding to forego with manual transmission. The GLX now comes with a 4-speed automatic while the GT-A retains the CVT.
