The 6th generation Subaru Legacy is a midsize sedan available in the Philippines fashioned with sharp contour lines and a body-integrated hexagonal grille, flanked by a set of hawk-eye headlights.
As with previous models, this latest Legacy still has a spacious cabin, but it’s the fine details within that adds a sporty and sophisticated touch. Aside from the added silver interior highlights, its premium infotainment system has also been improved with a 7-inch touchscreen display.
The all-new Subaru Legacy is available in 2 variants, the 2.5i-S and the 3.6R-S. Both are powered the brand’s famed boxer engine, with the 2.5i-S getting the 4-cylinder unit, rated at 175 hp and 235 Nm of torque, while the top-of-the-line 3.6R-S running the 6-cylinder, maxing out at 260 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Both variants feature Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system and an upgraded Lineartronic CVT with a redesigned torque converter, oil pump, and forward-reverse mechanism.
In terms of safety, the Legacy’s active and passive safety systems adapt the “All-Around Safety” philosophy. Now, bigger airbags have been installed to provide maximum safety for both the driver and the passenger.
The Subaru Legacy offers a head turning design, superior quality, and a wide array of technology features that are unique to this Japanese midsize car. However, many aren’t aware of the beauty of its engineering, which one can’t really discern just by looking at the spec sheet.
