Toyota Lite Ace Overview
The Toyota Liteace is the brand's entry into the light commercial vehicle segment in the Philippines. It is a versatile platform that can be equipped with multiple rear body configurations that can be adapted to your business needs. It is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that is similar to what you would find in the Toyota Vios. It is currently available as a panel van and has a pickup truck with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Toyota Liteace was launched in the Philippines with two available variants, a pickup truck, and a panel van. These two variants were made available with a 1.5-liter 2NR-VE motor that sends power to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
- Platform, Chassis and Powertrain

Powering the Toyota Liteace in the Philippines is the 1.5-liter 2NR-VE gasoline engine that produces 97hp and 134Nm of torque. This power is then sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. The commercial vehicle also comes with electric power steering, front disc brakes, and rear drum brakes. MacPherson struts are standard for all variants of the vehicle, however, the panel van version comes with a five-link coil spring at the back while other models get leaf springs as standard. Wheel sizes for the Liteace will be 14-inches for all variants, but the panel van will have a different set of slightly chunkier tires.

The Toyota Liteace is well equipped for a commercial vehicle as it comes with dual front airbags. The pickup truck version gets ABS while the panel van version gets vehicle stability control. Aside from this, standard features such as seatbelts and a steering lock are also found in the vehicle.
