AutoDeal.com.ph, the Philippines’ no.1 automotive online marketplace, has seen the popularity of the subcompact car segment to the online car buyers. Whether it’s because of their affordability or maneuverability as a small vehicle, these city slickers continue to win the hearts of Filipino online car buyers.
In fact, the subcompact car segment is the second most inquired-for segment on AutoDeal in Q1 2019, as reported in the AutoDeal Industry Insights for the said period. It stands next to the AUVs/MPVs which saw a rise in popularity of big names like the Toyota Rush and Mitsubishi Xpander, among others.
Among the subcompact cars inquired for in 2018, the Nissan Almera rose on top of the list of those who eventually bought one through AutoDeal. With a Lead-to-Sale conversion rate of 10.71%, the Nissan Almera snatches the 2018 AutoDeal Online Buyers Choice Award for Subcompact Cars.
The Almera is Nissan’s smallest car in its Philippines lineup, offering the traits of a diminutive sedan in a huge package. Powering the Almera is a choice between 1.2-liter and 1.5-liter gasoline engines, depending on the variant choices. This year, Nissan also introduces the Almera N-Sport variant to add a bit of sporty flavor onto the small sedan’s design.
Nissan Philippines President and Managing Director Mr. Atsushi Najima received the award from AutoDeal Co-Founder and CEO Mr. Daniel Scott.
We are very happy and we are very honored to receive this online award from AutoDeal. Obviously, the B-segment is very competitive and we are participating in this to serve more customers in the Philippines. Through this award, we are recognized for our very effective digital communications.
