Lotus Emeya Overview
The Lotus Emeya is a fully electric grand tourer built for speed, comfort, and style. It’s lower and sleeker than the Eletre but carries the same DNA, quick performance, advanced tech, and a clean driving feel. Just like its SUV sibling, the Emeya comes in 600 and 900 versions, with each number tied directly to its horsepower output. Trim options include Emeya 600, 600 GT SE, 600 SPORT SE, 900 SPORT, and 900 SPORT CARBON. It’s designed for those who want the excitement of a Lotus with the comfort of a long-distance cruiser.
- Launch
-
The Emeya’s updated line-up was revealed alongside the Eletre in July 2025. The naming reset was done to give customers a clear idea of what each model offers, and the return of names like GT SE and SPORT SE makes it easier to match the trim with your driving style. The Emeya also got new paint choices and interior themes, including Quartz and Jasper with LOTUSWEAR seat materials, giving it a more refined look and feel.
- Platform, Chassis and Powertrain
-
The Emeya shares its electric platform with the Eletre, using a 112 kWh battery and dual motors for all trims. The Emeya 600 makes 603 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.15 seconds. The 900 trim steps up to 905 hp and gets there in only 2.78 seconds. It also uses a 2-speed transmission for smoother delivery at high speeds. Top speed for the 900 is 256 km/h, and thanks to the 800V battery tech, you can go from 10 to 80% charge in about 14 minutes using a 400 kW DC charger. It also delivers up to 610 km of range, putting it among the top performers in its class.
- Technology Features
-
The Emeya is loaded with useful tech that’s focused on the driver. You get a 29-inch head-up display, a high-end KEF sound system, and a simple dashboard layout. The GT SE adds ambient lighting, illuminated side sills, a smart glass roof, and a hands-free tailgate. SPORT SE and 900 models come with dynamic handling upgrades, active rear diffusers, and aerodynamic features like front air dams and active spoilers. Parking is made easier with surround cameras, while front seats in the top trims also get massage and ventilation features.
- Exterior
-
The Emeya has a low, wide stance with sharp details and smooth lines. It looks fast even when it’s parked. Like the Eletre, it uses “porosity” to let air flow through the body, boosting both performance and cooling. The 600 trims ride on 20- or 21-inch wheels, while the SPORT CARBON model comes with extra carbon fiber parts and aero kits that give it a more aggressive look. The overall design feels balanced, sporty but not overdone.
- Interior
-
Inside, the Emeya keeps things simple but high-end. You can choose from interior themes like Jasper and Quartz, both using the latest LOTUSWEAR materials. The cabin is clean and well-organized, with digital displays that are easy to use and seats that feel supportive for long trips. There’s ambient lighting, smart climate control, and plenty of legroom in both rows. Features like soft-close doors and massaging seats add extra comfort in the higher trims.
- Safety
-
Just like the Eletre, the Emeya comes with advanced safety features across all trims. These include emergency braking, lane support, and a full surround camera system. The aerodynamic upgrades in the SPORT and CARBON models not only improve speed but also help keep the car stable and planted. With sharp steering and strong brakes, the Emeya gives you full confidence even at high speed.
