The Dongfeng Rich 7 is a midsize pickup truck built for both daily use and serious off-road adventures. The Rich 7 runs on a body-on-frame structure and comes with a 2.3-liter turbocharged diesel engine that puts out 166 PS and 420 Nm of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an electronic 4WD transfer knob offering 2H, 4H, and 4L drive modes. Front and rear electronic differential locks, a tank turn function, and a winch mounting bracket are built in for off-road use. The front suspension uses a double wishbone with stabilizer bar, while the rear uses a 5-link coil setup. Ground clearance is 232 mm with approach and departure angles at 33 degrees and 25 degrees, and it can handle steep climbs with a 40 degrees gradeability.

It comes with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through CarLink® 2.0. A 360-degree HD view camera helps with parking and tight off-road spots, and the truck includes push-button start, passive keyless entry, and auto climate control.
Exterior
The Rich 7 looks the part of a serious off-roader. It has 18-inch all-terrain tires on blacked-out alloy wheels, a front off-road protection frame, and a snorkel-style high mount air intake. Other tough features include front and rear mudflaps, roof rails, hydraulic struts for the hood, engine and transmission shields, and a trailer hitch with socket. The off-road body kit includes a smoked front grille and steel protection parts. The truck bed is 1,510 mm long, 1,562 mm wide, and 475 mm high, big enough for most hauling needs.
Interior
Inside, the Rich 7 mixes utility with comfort. The seats are power adjustable—8-way for the driver and 4-way for the passenger. There’s a tilt-adjustable PVC steering wheel, an electronic gear shifter, and a sunroof to bring in more light. The truck includes a 7-inch digital instrument cluster with two themes and off-road info like elevation, slope, and pressure. It also has rear AC vents and mobile phone storage with charging.
Safety
For safety, the Rich 7 includes standard driver aids like Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA). It also has Adaptive Cruise Control, child safety locks, ISOFIX mounts, and a full set of protection shields under the vehicle. It uses disc brakes all around and has an Electronic Parking Brake with auto brake hold.
