BAIC makes a grand reentry into the Philippine market alongside UAAGI, showcasing an impressive lineup of five new crossover and SUV models. This return marks a significant milestone for the automaker, signaling its commitment to serving the Filipino market with a diverse range of vehicles designed to cater to various preferences and needs.
The initial lineup of vehicles introduced is the B Series, featuring a collection of robust body-on-frame models. These vehicles are designed to excel in demanding conditions, offering durability and off-road capability to tackle diverse terrains with ease.
Among the B Series models is the B40 Ragnar, marketed as a rugged machine in the 4x4 category. Propelled by a potent 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine delivering 161 hp and 350 Nm of torque, it ensures dependable performance on any terrain. Inside, occupants are treated to a host of modern conveniences, including a 10-inch infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, and luxurious leather upholstery, enhancing both comfort and functionality.
Another standout in the B Series lineup is the B60 Beaumont, blending luxury with off-road prowess. Equipped with a robust 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine generating 161 hp and 350 Nm of torque, it ensures a powerful and capable driving experience. Notably, the B60 Beaumont offers spacious accommodation for up to seven occupants within its fully loaded cabin, making it an ideal choice for families or those seeking ample passenger capacity without compromising on comfort or amenities.
The pinnacle of the B Series lineup, the B80 Wagon, asserts itself as the flagship SUV, boasting a rugged exterior design coupled with impressive performance. Powering this model is a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine, delivering an 280 hp and 420 Nm of torque. Inside, the B80 Wagon is replete with luxurious features, including a digital instrument panel, touchscreen media system, and full leather upholstery.
Following the B Series, the lineup transitions to the X Series, which comprises a selection of crossover SUV models designed to cater to a broader range of preferences and lifestyles. These models combine versatility, style, and advanced technology to deliver an exceptional driving experience for urban and suburban adventures alike.
The X Series introduces two crossover models, each offering unique features and characteristics to suit different preferences and needs. First up is the X7 Grandeza, a midsize crossover that exudes style and sophistication while incorporating advanced technology. Notable features include Nappa leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and an interior equipped with three screens, providing access to various functions and entertainment options.
Next, we have the X55 Verve, a compact crossover distinguished by its sleek exterior design and abundance of features. Despite its smaller size, it doesn't compromise on comfort or amenities.
