
It’s amazing what technology can achieve these days. Take for instance Nissan’s side project called the “Intelligent Parking Chair” that’s shown in this video.
Derived from the technology from their self-driving cars, the Japanese automaker created this ingenious kind of office chair that’s perfect for messy employees. The chair is activated by a clap of the hands, it then coordinates with detectors, small video cameras, and wireless tracking technology in the room to safely park itself.
Unfortunately, this tech is only limited to international models like the Nissan X-Trail Hybrid. It would be cool if Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) brought in these chairs and of course the self-parking cars. Enjoy the video below.
