The second-generation BR-V entered the Philippine market in 2022, dropping the curvy design of the old model and replacing it with a stockier and more upright build. The BR-V is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine under the hood, generating 119 hp and 145 Nm of torque. It is paired with either a CVT or a six-speed manual transmission. 

The second-generation BR-V garnered praise from buyers and automotive journalists alike because of its evolution from the previous BR-V. In addition to its handsome and restrained looks, the BR-V provides a compliant and easy driving experience. While the BR-V may lack the precision and grounded feel found in other vehicles within Honda's lineup, it's not designed for aggressive driving.
