J&T Express continues to trust Foton with another purchase order of trucks

J&T Express continually moves closer with its vehicle partner, Foton. As one of Asia’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers, Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) strengthens its business partnership with the rapidly growing logistics service provider. 

Enabling success for its corporate partners, FMPI provides topnotch mobility with its recent acquisition of additional units of the Foton brand’s Tornado trucks. Equipped with a capable diesel motor, the truck is outfitted with the necessary torque to carry out the tasks and daily operations needed in the field of logistics. The Cummins 2.8-liter ISF engine is a common-rail direct injection turbocharged motor that is Euro 4-compliant, with up to 129 hp and 310 Nm of torque. 

The specific model ordered by J&T is the Foton Tornado M2.6C F-Van, which boasts a good 2.6-ton payload capacity enough for thousands of packages. Another model that Foton sold to J&T was the Foton Tornado M4.2C F-Van. The commercial vehicle offers even more room and capacity with a 4.2-ton payload capacity. The model is capable of traveling long distances with its Cummins-developed ISF 3.8 engine.  

J&T Express has grown its fleet of vehicles since 2019, with the company having more than 450 Foton commercial vehicles to date. Yet another batch of delivery vehicles was purchased by the company to boost expansion and encourage business development across the country. 

The newest model that makes the cut for the J&T fleet is the Foton EST-M 6x2 Wing Van, which has a 25-ton carrying capacity. The truck is motivated by an ISDe-270 Cummins engine, which produces a strong 270 hp and 970 Nm of torque.
