Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) donates three Navaras to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC). The midsize pickups come with the organization’s logo on several easy-to-spot areas such as the hood, side, and rear. The vehicles will be purposed to serve the PRC’s various activities that involve outreach and other operations.
With its capable and comfortable chassis, the Nissan Navara can serve as both city-crawler or mud trekker if need be. The midsize pickup is a good choice to reach remote areas that normal cars wouldn’t be able to go to. The variants donated were of the Sport trim level, which comes with adornments such as body kits and bigger wheels.
Helping our communities through this donation is one way we deliver Nissan’s vision of enriching people’s lives. Particularly by ensuring that the PRC can deliver aid and disaster support confidently with our robust and trustworthy Nissan Navara. We hope that our contribution enhances PRC’s capacity in reaching out to more communities.
With these capable trucks, the PRC’s operations will indeed follow through. With several calamities happening as of late, the need for highly mobile and versatile modes of transport is a must for any relief operation.
Apart from the trucks that totaled P4,100,000, several Nissan employees also gave monetary donations to help the victims of the Taal volcano eruption. All of these items were given to the PRC in order to help facilitate the relief operations they’re still conducting.
