The onset of the current pandemic has caused many changes as the nation was put into quarantine. As the world slowly recovers a “new normal” is coming with more stringent health and safety guidelines put into place. As businesses begin to resume their operations the traffic associated with it also returns. The government together with various transport providers have already pushed to shift towards cashless payments as an easier method of getting payments. Through this means it will allow the public to easily pay for their fare all while lowering physical interaction between people. The same can be said for Toll Plazas as these high contact areas can be dangerous as numerous physical interactions can occur due to the volume of traffic passing through.

There is a solution to this problem in the form of RFIDs which all major tollways offer. Having RFID allows the user to pay for the toll without the need to physically pay for it or interact with the teller. This lowers the risk of infection and makes your trip more convenient as lines for RFID lanes are much shorter than that of the cash lanes.
With the move to cashless payments now becoming part of the new normal the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) now has made getting its Easytrip RFID stickers available online. These RFIDs can now be ordered and delivered right to your doorstep through either Shopee or Lazda. The RFID will only cost you P500 for the initial load. It is important to note, however, that shipping costs are not included and may vary depending on your area. Also included in the RFID package are installation guides along with an Easytrip card. To order one online simply type in RFID Easytrip and it should show up as the first two search results on Lazada and as the third result on Shopee.
The Easytrip RFID can be used in the following tollways:
-
North Luzon Expressway (NLEX)
-
NLEX Harbor Link
-
C5 South Link
-
Subic - Clark - Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX)
-
Cavite - Manila Expressway
-
Cavite - Laguna Expressway
