BMW revealed the Concept X7 iPerformance at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The German manufacturer says the 6-seater, 3-row SUV will introduce a new take on the brand’s luxurious design.
Up front, the X7 iPerformance has large kidney grilles and side vents, giving it a dominating presence. The SUV is given a sporty look thanks to its sleek headlights and 23-inch multi-spoke light alloy wheels. It also has seamless door handles, as well as deep character lines with silver accents that extend towards the back giving the X7 a futuristic look.
This cutting edge theme continues inside with an interior wrapped in white and black leather, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and slim yet comfy-looking seats. Meanwhile, the X7’s 2nd row passengers are spoiled with their own personalized infotainment system mounted on the front row’s head rest. Occupants can also stargaze or soak in some sun with the X7’s panoramic sunroof.
As for its engine, a BMW TwinPower Turbo gasoline engine with eDrive resides underneath the hood, which means this SUV will be a hybrid. Unfortunately, the German brand has yet to disclose the X7’s technical specifications such as engine performance and mileage.
The BMW Concept X7 iPerformance is expected to go into production in 2018.
