Motor Image Pilipinas Inc. (MIPI), distributor of Subaru Cars in the Philippines, is throwing an upgrade to their famous midsize sedan.
Released in early 2015, the all-new Subaru Legacy comes in 2 variants – the 2.5i-S and the 3.6R-S – priced at P1,808,000 and P2,098,000 respectively. Both are powered by a Boxer engine and mated to a Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The 4-cylinder 2.5 L variant can produce up to 175 hp and 235 Nm of torque, on the other hand the 6-cylinder 3.6 L variant can max it out up to 260 hp and 350 Nm of torque.
Inside, the 6th generation Legacy is decorated with silver accents, along with the leather interiors which adds to its luxurious appeal. Outside, the hawk-eye headlamps plus the hexagonal grills adds to it style arsenal.
With all these features mentioned you might ask, “So, what's new?” Well, look closely at the head unit below:
The all-new Legacy will now come with premium audio systems. Inside the 2.5i-S, you and your passengers will be entertained by a 7-inch VGA center touchscreen display with 6 speakers. On the other hand, the 3.6R-S variant will be equipped with the same premium audio system however, you should prepare yourself for the 12 Harman/Kardon speakers. Sound clarity and definition at its finest. Imagine watching your favorite movies or concerts in high definition amidst the battle of Metro Manila traffic jams.
This, along with features like the pop-up headlamp washers, rain-sensing windshield wipers, illuminated gauge, rear vision camera system, and the dual-zone automatic air-conditioning system, will come standard with every brand new Subaru Legacy.
