Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has just marked a significant milestone by unveiling its 6th Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station in collaboration with SM Supermalls. The latest addition to this growing network of charging stations is located at SM Lanang Premier and was unveiled during the inaugural day of the Hyundai Mobility Experience (HME) event, which also coincided with its tour at the same mall. Situated conveniently in the basement parking area near the main entrance, this charging station is equipped with a Type 2 AC Charger that is available for use by all EV and hybrid vehicle owners free of charge. This initiative is part of an ongoing partnership formed back in July, which includes five other charging stations at SM Mall of Asia, The Podium, SM Fairview, SM City Clark, and SM City Cebu.
In addition to this exciting announcement, mall visitors were also invited to explore the Hyundai showcase at the Main Atrium. There, they can admire the latest collection of Hyundai vehicles while enjoying a complimentary beverage courtesy of Brew + Bakes, a popular feature at Hyundai's roadshows. This mini café also serves as an interactive demonstration of the featured IONIQ model's Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, showcasing how the vehicle's power can be used to brew a fresh cup of coffee.
Visitors were also encouraged to take advantage of various offers during the event, including test drives, Hyundai-branded umbrellas, and exclusive P10,000 discount vouchers for making reservations. Moreover, Hyundai is hosting its Grand Before Service Activity (GBSA) at the Open Parking Lot D from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During this event, car owners, regardless of their vehicle's make or model, can receive a complimentary 23-Point Car Check Up along with Bactakleen disinfection. To sweeten the deal, participants were also given a free Shell fuel voucher and a Hyundai-branded tumbler.
"We are very happy to be letting Davaoeños experience the Hyundai brand in more ways than one. Apart from our newly opened EV charging slot, we have prepared a variety of activities for old and new customers." He added, "HME was developed to convey our vision of innovation and sustainability all around the Philippines. Which is why we are excited to be bringing it out of Metro Manila and combining it with our special aftersales initiative. We intend to continue on with this for the remainder of the year to let even more Filipinos discover how much we value every step of the ownership journey and are constantly searching for ways to enrich it.
Looking ahead, HME is set to embark on its journey to Cebu from September 29 to October 1 and will make a stop in Pampanga from October 27 to 29, ensuring that even more Filipinos across the country have the opportunity to experience Hyundai's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
