Kia Philippines has announced that it will relaunch the brand in the country on November 8, 2021. This goes in line with Kia Corporation, as they too have gotten a relaunch which has changed their corporate logo and global brand slogan to “movement that inspires.” With these key changes, it signifies that something is exciting in store for the local branch of the South Korean automaker as it also points to an all-new product philosophy centered on creating products that encourage consumers to move towards their ambitions.
The local branch of Kia in the Philippines has also stated that the relaunch is a local adaptation of the new and bold Kia. The automaker understands that for many Filipinos, the idea of moving towards a goal or purpose is one that should always start from yourself. That being said, validation of the Filipino culture and identity should be the starting point for the brand so that it can better resonate with the local consumers.
Kia’s new logo represents the company’s commitment to becoming an icon for change and innovation.
Song continues by stating that “The automotive industry is experiencing a period of rapid transformation, and Kia is proactively shaping and adapting to these changes. Our new logo represents our desire to inspire customers as their mobility needs evolve, and for our employees to rise to the challenges we face in a fast-changing industry.”
The new logo of Kia was unveiled earlier this year during a record-breaking event held above the skies of Incheon Korea. To showcase its new logo to the world, the automaker utilized 303 pyrodrones that launched hundreds of fireworks into the sky in a synchronized artistic display to unveil the brand’s new logo. As for its local relaunch, Kia Philippines hasn’t revealed too much of what will happen, it has only stated that the event itself will start at 6:30 PM on November 8, 2021, and that it will be streamed on their official social media channels.
