Nissan Philippines will soon be launching the 370z sports coupe into the country. No official date was given but it seems as the units are already on Philippine soil. In an official press release sent by the company, it indicated that the vehicles are already in the country and that they were already spotted on Philippine roads prior to the SuperZonic Nissan 370z drive. The event is where these vehicles were originally intended to be launched. The drive itself will be happening this week.

Upon launch, the Japanese sports car will come with three models to choose from. The first will be a seven-speed automatic variant of the vehicle, followed up by a manual variant, and finally, a NISMO edition with an automatic transmission will top off the variant lineup. The standard variants of the vehicle are powered by a 3.7-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine. The gasoline powerplant produces 332hp and 365 Nm of torque.

Those who want a little more performance can opt to get the NISMO variant. Opting for the range-topping variant gets you more power from the 3.7-liter gasoline engine pushing out 344hp and 374 Nm of torque. That represents a 12hp and 9 Nm of torque difference. It also comes with handling enhancements which include: stiffer springs, new shock absorbers, larger stabilizers, and additional chassis braces have been added. The brakes have also been up-rated in order to handle the increase in power.
Pricing for these sports cars starts at P2,779,000 and goes all the way to P3,877,000 for the range-topping NISMO variant. The NISMO models are only available at Nissan’s High-Performance Center in Quezon Avenue. With sporty models being introduced into its local lineup it’s not hard to see that Nissan Philippines has something special in store for 2020. It might even bring the NISMO brand into the country if conditions become ideal to do so.
