Want to see a Subaru car stunt? Visit SM City Cebu this weekend

Are you running out of plans on how to spend the upcoming weekend and happen to be in Cebu? Why not take our suggestion; drive to SM City Cebu and witness the final leg of the 2018 Subaru Ultimate Test Drive featuring Russ Swift on August 24 to 26, 2018, Friday to Sunday. 

The event will be held at the North Open Parking of SM City Cebu, where Russ Swift will perform some of his heart-stopping car stunts in Subaru vehicles. Come see him do some reverse parallel parking in tight spots, some fast doughnuts, and car skiing, among others. You may also be among the lucky people who may have a chance for a photo-op with the British racer-turned-stunt driver.

A little trivia, Russ Swift is known for obtaining numerous Guinness World Records. These include the 16-seconder 10-spin doughnuts, which, if you’ll calculate it, is one spin per 1.6 seconds. Holy, that’s freaking fast (and nauseating). However, before he got into stunt performing, he used to be a race car driver and was the British Autotest Champion and England Autotest Team Captain in 1982 and 1983, respectively. He currently acts as an advisor to a bunch of police, military, royal, and diplomatic drivers. 

While watching a world-renowned driver do some car tricks sounds fun, wait till you hear this. Visitors could also get the chance to experience Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD) and how it makes a difference on certain conditions. Don’t miss the chance to experience this first hand, along with the Boxer Engine, Subaru Global Platform, and the EyeSight Technology. 

If you’re interested, the Ultimate Test Drive happens at 9:00 A.M. and will run until 6:00 P.M. during the mentioned dates. The Russ Swift Stunt Show will begin at 1:00 P.M. for the first show, 3:00 P.M. for the second show, and 5:00 P.M. for the last one. All these are of free charge so bring in some friends and families for a great weekend.
