Nissan GT Academy ends recruitment stage with Celebrity Challenge
Nissan Philippines has concluded its recruitment stage in SM Aura with a celebrity challenge featuring two young athletes – Arnold Van Opstal and Von Pessumal.
Aside from the celebrity challenge, Nissan PH named the top 20 virtual racers including first and only female participant Ellyse Menorca. The top 20 racers will then slug it out at the National Finals this month. From 20, Nissan PH will get the top 6 racers to go to Silverstone Racing Circuit in UK.
CAMPI to hold 6th Philippine International Motor Show this September
The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) is set to hold the 6th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) from September 14 to 18, 2016 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
For this year, PIMS will feature 17 car manufacturers and distributors in the country. These will include BAIC, BMW, Daewoo Bus, FOTON, Honda, Isuzu, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Peugeot, Suzuki, Toyota, and Volkswagen. Tickets for the 6th PIMS can be bought through SM Tickets for only P100.

Hyundai reveals i10’s new face
Hyundai has revealed the facelifted i10 ahead of its debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show. Aside from the new look, the i10 comes with an updated infotainment system.
Up front, this Korean subcompact hatch is fitted with Hyundai’s ‘Cascading’ grille, which features a less angular shape as compared to the previous i10. The said grille design is said to be integrated to future Hyundai models, becoming the brand’s new corporate look.
2017 Kia Rio unveiled ahead of Paris debut
Kia has revealed the first official images of the 2017 Rio ahead of its premiere at the Paris Motor Show.
The all-new Kia Rio features an aggressive exterior look along with a new ‘tiger-nose’ grille design. Comparing to its predecessor, this Paris-bound Rio is bigger. To put things in perspective, it is 15 mm longer, 5 mm wider, and has a 10 mm longer wheelbase.
