Maserati Levante

Formula Sports Inc., the official importer of Maserati cars in the Philippines, officially brings in the Levante – the Italian marque’s first SUV. It features a sleek and elegant design inside out; characteristics that make it a Maserati despite its size.

In case you’re wondering, the Levante was named after a Mediterranean wind that can change velocity in an instant, a perfect representation of the car’s acclaimed performance on and off the road.

The all-new Levante features a coupe-like exterior design, with long chiseled hood, narrow swept-back Bi-Xenon headlamps, and chrome vertical front grille crowned by Maserati’s trident emblem. Its fascia is a reminiscent of the other Maserati cars in the lineup – except that its size and ground clearance exhumes full-on authority.

In profile, the Italian SUV comes with a sloping roofline and prominent wheel arches. As for the rear, it’s more of a Quattroporte than a Ghibli with its taillight configuration and 4 rectangular exhaust pipes.

What’s best about the Levante’s exterior design is its aerodynamic efficiency, which accounts to the 0.31 coefficient of drag. It was also made of lightweight materials for 50-50% weight distribution, making it an agile SUV with the lowest center of gravity in its class according to Maserati. Lastly, it’s equipped with air suspension for a better off-road ride.

Inside, the all-new Levante can accommodate 5 people and comes standard with leather seats for that first class feel. You can also customize it to dual-color leather, with 28 combinations to choose from. The head unit at the center of the dashboard is an 8.4-inch capacitive touch screen display with rotary control and AHA function. This new feature allows connectivity to mobile devices, which in turn connects you to the internet for added functionality.

Under its hood, the all-new Levante has 3 power plants to choose from - all mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and transferring the power to four wheels with the Q4 All Wheel Drive system. The 3.0L V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine variants have 2 options: a 430-hp that can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds with a maximum speed of 264 km/h; and a 350-hp that can do it in 6 seconds with a maximum speed of 251 km/h.

On the other hand, the all-new Levante is also available in a 3.0L direct-injection turbodiesel V6 engine. It can produce up to 275 hp with a maximum speed of 230 km/h, and can go from standstill to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.

These figures are matched with safety and convenience features such as the brand-new Human Machine Interface, dedicated cargo solutions, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, Forward Collision Warning and Brake Assist System, Lane Departure Warning, and Surround View camera.

The all-new Maserati is now available at the showroom with bespoke options to suit your taste.
