Marvel fans have another thing to be excited about, as the 2019 Hyundai Veloster Turbo will be starring in the upcoming film, Ant-Man and The Wasp. Making its Hollywood debut in the big screen, the Veloster is painted in purple with flame graphics just like a Hot Wheels toy. Adding to its aesthetics are its side pipes and massive tires.
“Having our all-new Veloster immersed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a great way to entertain consumers and showcase the vehicle’s stylish design and performance capabilities to a massive audience. We wanted to take full advantage of this collaboration by engaging fans and providing them with experiences beyond the big screen.”
The Veloster’s role is not known yet. However, the video ad features a heroic scene where the coupe is showing off its ability, swerving with might and power, as the cars tailing it can’t keep up with the speed. Do you think Ant Man is the one behind that revving engine sound and screeching wheels?
In case you’re wondering, the 2019 Veloster Turbo houses a 1.6L turbocharged inline-4 that can deliver up to 201 hp and 264 Nm of torque.
During its premiere on July 6, 2018, the redesigned sporty coupe will be presented as an enlarged packaged toy at the red carpet event. Well, the fun doesn’t stop there, as Hyundai will be placing small toy versions of the Veloster around Los Angeles to serve as a movie pass to an exclusive movie screening. They will drop hints on its Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat channels about the toy’s locations. If you’re in the U.S. with those dates, good for you.
The Hyundai-Marvel Studios’ team up is part of the global marketing strategy, which intends to increase Hyundai’s brand awareness with all the Marvel fans around the world.
