Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI), the official distributor of Changan automobiles in the Philippines, recently organized the first in a series of Executive Sessions aimed at the leaders of its dealership network. This event took place at the CMPI National Headquarters in Calamba City, Laguna.
The conference, titled "ChanganVerse," spanned an entire day and focused on discussing the latest trends, challenges, and applications of new and upcoming technology in the automotive retail sector. The primary goal of the conference was to equip the Changan Philippines dealership network with the necessary knowledge and readiness to adapt to the evolving dynamics of the customer journey. This objective is in line with the vision of Changan International Corporation (CIC) to expand its brand of future-forward automotive technology into new global markets.
To provide valuable insights, renowned experts and advocates of digital technology were invited to share their knowledge with the attendees. The distinguished speakers included Dr. Donald Patrick Lim, Chief Operating Officer of DITO CME; Jaypee Soliman, Senior Vice President of the Customer Experience Group at UnionBank of the Philippines; Jos Ortega, Chairman and CEO of Havas Media Ortega; and Jonathan de Luzuriaga, President of the Philippine Software Industry Association. Additionally, Christine Go, a Consultant of Development Dimensions International, delivered a special lecture on ensuring business continuity in the digital age. Rico Hizon, the CNN Philippines director for news and a senior anchor, skillfully hosted the conference.
Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, the President and CEO of CMPI, emphasized the importance of making the yearly dealers' conference relevant and reflective of the current business landscape. She stated that in order to thrive and succeed in the digital world, the entire dealership network must continuously learn and update their skills. Placing customers at the forefront of their operations by connecting with them on their terms—where, when, and how they prefer—is essential.
The Executive Sessions served as a platform for industry leaders to come together, exchange knowledge, and gain valuable insights into the ever-changing automotive retail landscape. By staying ahead of the curve and embracing technological advancements, CMPI and its dealership network aim to enhance customer experiences and maintain a competitive edge in the digital era.
