Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) joined the inauguration of the newly-renovated National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), which is the repository of the nation’s rich scientific and cultural past. As a major donor of this heritage project, HARI sponsored the renovation of the NMNH’s entrance hall.
With this, HARI through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm, HARI Foundation, Inc. (HFI), intends to further strengthen its advocacy for education in Philippine biodiversity conservation.
“With a new home that promises better access to research and collections that bespeak new thinking in the sciences through the centuries, the NMNH inspires national pride and the desire to learn and discover new ways of addressing biodiversity loss and climate change woes. For it is with a deep understanding of our past that we can effectively address present and future challenges.”
Aside from that, this heritage project is said to be a representation of HARI’s unity with the national and global sustainability. The inauguration of the Hyundai Philippines Entrance Hall was attended by VIP guests, donors, and stakeholders.
The NMNH is located at Rizal Park, Manila and it is scheduled to open before the year ends.
