The Auto Nation Group (ANG), the local distributors of Dodge and Jeep vehicles in the Philippines, is bringing in a vehicle that fans of muscle cars and huge horsepower will surely love. Since the country was not able to get the Challenger Demo locally, ANG has decided to bring in the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye instead. The launch of the 800hp beast of a vehicle was done quietly after the auto group virtually launched its Jeep Compass and Renegade first.
The Challenger Hellcat first made its appearance in the automotive market back in the middle of 2018. The original version of the vehicle made 717hp and 890 Nm of torque thanks to its innovative supercharger technology. The “Redeye” variant, however, is a completely different beast as it further increases the power output to 795hp and 958 Nm of torque. With such staggering power figures it's no wonder that the Hellcat Redeye is one of the most powerful muscle cars available on the market today.

At the heart of the beast that is the Hellcat Redeye beats a Supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8. While the basic design of the engine is the same as the Hellcat, the Redeye gets several components replaced with even stronger ones. The V8 now gets stronger pistons and connecting rods, a bigger supercharger, a revised valvetrain, improved lubrication, higher redline, and dual fuel injectors.

Aside from the new motor components the Hellcat Redeye also comes with handling upgrades as well. It now comes with SRT-tuned Bilstein suspension, adaptive dampers, 20-inch SRT forged alloy wheels wrapped in 275/40ZR20 tires, high-performance six-piston Brembo brakes, and the Power Chiller/ After-run Chiller cooling system that comes from the Demon.
With all of these modifications installed the Hellcat Redeye can now do a 0-100km/h time of 3.4 seconds. It can also now achieve a top speed of 327km/h. It does all of these things with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission.
On the inside the Hellcat Redeye has the basic creature comforts and amenities covered. It comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, premium leather seats, an 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system with navigation, and an 18-speaker sound system.
As for pricing the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye can now be had for P7,890,000. For a performance car that expensive and that powerful it's probably best to invest in some insurance for that. Autodeal has got you covered as it now lets you purchase insurance online.
