The Ford Territory made its initial launch in the Philippines back in August 2020. It brought with it stellar features such as a 10-inch infotainment system, a turbocharged engine, a 360-degree camera, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a panoramic moonroof, and much more that made it a popular choice amongst Filipino car buyers. It quickly also built a following on social media with the Ford Territory Club Philippines, a community of Ford Territory owners and enthusiasts whose membership has now reached over 22,000.
Since its original launch, the Territory has quickly cemented itself as one of the top-selling models that Ford Philippines has in its local lineup. The small crossover SUV from Ford Philippines was able to deliver strong sales in the first half of 2022 with 3,691 units sold which represents an 11-percent increase from the previous year, garnering it a 52 percent share of the small crossover SUV segment.
Aside from this, the vehicle also posted its best-ever retail month performance in June since its launch with 1,574 units sold, which is almost three times the volume sold in the same month in 2021.
We are delighted to see that the Ford Territory has maintained its appeal to Filipino SUV customers two years since it was launched
He continues by stating that “The Ford Territory remains one of our most important vehicles in the Ford lineup and we are excited to sustain its success for the remainder of the year.”
The Ford Territory also was able to reach its 10,000 customer milestone earlier this year and is poised to hit the 15,000 sales milestone before the end of 2022.
