The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI) the exclusive distributor of MG in the Philippines has put into place new health and safety guidelines for its clients. The British brand has put into place stringent safety protocols involving unit disinfection and sanitation with regards to pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of each brand new MG unit. Meanwhile, its dealerships nationwide have also responded to the ongoing pandemic by heightening their levels for existing safety and hygiene practices.
During the PDI each brand new MG unit will undergo a disinfection treatment system, where an atomized anti-bacterial solution will fumigate the vehicle. The solution can penetrate areas of the car’s cabin such as the ventilation system, carpets, cushions, and beddings to kill bacteria in hard to reach places. The cleaning process will specifically target the air conditioning system of the vehicle removing bacteria, spores, mold, and other microorganisms. MG states that the treatment offers non-toxic, long-term protection against the regeneration of germs and microbes. Existing MG clients can also avail of the service for their vehicles for a minimal fee.
Aside from the disinfection of units, MG dealerships will also be heightening their existing hygiene and sanitation protocols. Through this, it will lessen the chances of the facilities to be affected by viral traces, bacteria, and other contaminants. MG assures the public that its personnel has also been briefed on what to do with regards to the guidelines set up by the Philippine government. Personnel will put these new protocols into practice when dealing with clients and amongst themselves at the workplace.
