With Volkswagen Philippines soon crossing its 8th year of presence here in the local market, the brand is gearing towards success, with the German automaker soon to go global primarily with image, services, and products.
Future plans of Volkswagen Philippines were discussed during the virtual media roundtable organized by the brand. Led by Mr. Felipe Estrella III, Volkswagen Philippines president, the media roundtable included information on the company’s plans for the rebranding phase of the German automaker here in the country. The said plans cover VW’s image, products or vehicle lineup, and its services that do play a huge factor among car buyers nowadays.
For starters, the new globalized Volkswagen includes the new logo. This refresh shall go by its new set of traits, aimed at unveiling the new Volkswagen brand: energetic, vibrant, inviting, exciting, festive, and lively. In order to entice more buyers, the brand is set to become more customer-centric, giving Volkswagen owners easier access for after-sales services. Most important of all is that quality on both its products and services are set to be improved as well. In addition, Volkswagen Philippines also promised that overall ownership costs will be reduced.
Just recently, Volkswagen Philippines has been releasing a bunch of teaser materials featuring the upcoming T-Cross. As per the brand, the subcompact crossover will be making its way to the Philippine market by the second quarter of 2021. They also stated that the pricing of this model will range from P1.1- to P1.3-million pesos. Aside from that, the brand will also be bringing in two global models by the third quarter of this year. Details on the said vehicles, however, were not disclosed during the virtual meeting, making it a mystery yet to be uncovered.
Overall, the German automaker wants to improve the Volkswagen experience, from purchasing your vehicle to after-sales.
